Our story
About Our Family School
Our Family School was started by a parent who wanted a better way to practice reading at home. When our daughter needed help with heart words, we couldn't find a simple tool that worked — so we built one.
Why we built this
Every night at bedtime, we'd practice sight words with index cards. It worked, but it was clunky. Heart Words takes that same simple idea and makes it easier to do consistently.
What we believe
Learning to read should be something families do together — not something kids do alone on a screen. That's why Heart Words is designed for a parent and child to sit side by side.
